The Boring Stuff 🤣...
Did you Know ? 🤔
WHAT IS ELF ON THE SHELF?
Elf on the shelf is a friendly scout elf sent by Santa Claus all the way from the North Pole to check whether the children are behaving themselves and being naughty or nice in the run up to Christmas. Once you adopt an elf, it's your job to name him/her and look after them in the run up to Christmas. The Elf on The Shelf's job is to fly back to Santa each night and tell him about it's day. Every morning, it returns home to a new spot in the house and delight the children who rush around looking for what mischief it's been up to that night.
WHEN DOES ELF ON THE SHELF START?
Most Elves return during a week long window at the end of November - this week has been named 'Scout Elf Return Week'.
But that is not always the case, all scout elves are different, some return at the end of November, whilst other wait until the second week in December. It's entirely up to you when you want your elf to return. On Christmas Eve it sadly returns back to Santa Claus in the North Pole.
THE ELF ON THE SHELF RULES
According to the official Elf on The Shelf website there are 2 rules you must always follow:
1. “A scout elf cannot be touched. Christmas magic is very fragile and if a scout elf is touched it may lose that magic and be unable to fly back to the North Pole.”
2. “A scout elf cannot speak or move while anyone in the house is awake! A scout elf's job is to watch and listen.”
