With the option at the checkout when ordering of contactless delivery 🚚 (in selected Liverpool postcodes) or a time allocated collection slot from our shop.🛍️

🎁 Exclusive Local Delivery - This delivery option is available for local Liverpool postcodes only (L12, L13, L14 and L36.) Monday - Saturday 6pm- 9pm & Sunday 10am - 6pm.

✨Next Day Delivery - Next day delivery is not available at the moment, we apologise for the inconvenience.

What delivery time slots do we offer? 

 ⏱️ All time slots will be available for you to select from the drop down menu when placing your order. These times fall in our core business opening hours (Monday - Saturday 10am - 6pm).

🎁 We also offer an 'Exclusive Local Delivery' option, should you require delivery Monday - Saturday 6pm - 9pm or Sunday 10am - 6pm - This will be an additional cost which is also shown at the checkout.

We make every effort to deliver goods within the estimated time scales. Please be aware that delays are occasionally inevitable due to busy periods and unforeseen factors such as traffic 🚘 , weather constraints ❄️ or force majeure 🙇🏽‍♂️ and therefore we will not accept liability or be responsible for late delivery under these circumstances.

☎️ If there are any issues meeting your preferred time slot and date, we will contact you, so please ensure your contact telephone number is correct.

How do we keep you up to date on your delivery?

📧 You should receive a dispatch email either the day before or the morning of your required date. This will just be a gentle reminder for you to ensure you are at the delivery address for the time slot you selected when placing your order.

🔁 Unfortunately we cannot offer a tracking service at present, however this is something we are looking to develop should our delivery trail be a success.

🚫 Once we have dispatched your order we cannot change the delivery address 🏠. 

What if there's no one at the delivery address when you attempt delivery?

🙅‍♂️ If there is no one available to receive the delivery at the delivery address provided, we’ll attempt to make contact with you (using the telephone number provided on your order form) and look to either leave the delivery in a safe place or with a neighbour with your permission.

In the event of requests for orders to be left at unattended premises 📦 (for example - in a porch) or with neighbours Create A Cake will endeavour to do so at the customer's own liability.

Create A Cake will not be held liable ⛔ for lost or damaged orders where incorrect or insufficient address details are provided on your order form.

If your order is returned to our shop due to either no one being available at the address or incorrect/insufficient address details provided on your order form, we will try and contact you to discuss alternative arrangements at our earliest convenience. You will be eligible for the cost of re- delivering the order 💰.

How will my order be delivered?

On arriving at the delivery address, the driver will knock at your door 🚪 or ring your doorbell 🔔 before following social distancing guidelines; standing at a distance, where they will wait for you to collect your order 🛍️ from your doorstep.

What if my order arrives damaged or something is missing?

😔 If your delivery arrives and it is damaged during transit or there is an item/s missing from your order, please report it on the day of delivery by telephone or if there is no answer, use our online contact form.

ℹ️ Please provide as much information about your order to help us provide an efficient service; your order number; details of your name, delivery address, date of order. items missing.  We may also ask for proof of the damage for our records.

We will then arrange at our earliest convenience a solution/replacement for the damage/missing items.

‼️ Please note that all damaged or missing items must be reported on the day of delivery.

We will get your order ready for the date 📅 and time slot 🕒 you pre-selected from the drop down on your order form.

❗Due to the COVID-19 pandemic our shop is currently closed to the general public, so please ensure you are at the shop within your time slot request.

What if no one turns up to collect?

👍🏻 Your cake order should be collected at the time agreed when placing your order and stated on your order form. If for any reason there is no one available to collect the order at the time and date provided, we’ll attempt to make contact with you (using the telephone number provided on your order form) to discuss alternative arrangements at our earliest convenience. 

Due to COVID-19 pandemic our shop is currently closed to the general public and we may only be at the shop for the specific time slot selected to collect.

In the event of requests for orders to be left at unattended premises, Create A Cake will endeavour to do so at the customer's own liability.

⚠️ Create A Cake will not be held liable for any lost days where your order is not collected as requested.

What do I do when I'm collecting my order?

⛔ Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic our shop is currently closed to the general public and we may only be at the shop for the specific time slot selected to collect. This means that the shop shutters WILL be closed when you collect your order from us.

On arriving at the shop, we request that you use the side door.🚪

Please knock at the white side door (to the left of the shop - 94 Page Moss Lane), where you will wait to collect your order from our doorstep. 🛍️ 

We ask you to respect the two-metre social distancing rule whilst waiting to collect your order.

📦 Your order will be securely packaged in a cake/cupcake box, so you don't have to worry about it when transporting.

It should be stored in a cool, damp-free, dry environment, out of any direct sunlight and on a flat, sturdy surface. 

❕ Create A Cake is not liable for any cakes stored or displayed in poor conditions. It is the responsibility of the customer to keep the cake in the manner recommended by us..

🚗  Our Liverpool based cake shop also has ample parking outside, so the whole process should be really safe and easy for you.

What if my order is damaged or something is missing?

✅ Customers are advised to check their order at the time of collection, once you have received your order we will assume you are satisfied. Once you have received your order, it is then your sole responsibility. 

‼️ We will not accept responsibility for damage caused by you or by any other persons nominated by you to collect your order. Any repairs or adjustments will incur additional charges. Once the order leaves our premises, we cannot be held responsible for any damage caused.

ℹ️ Any cake should be stored in a cool, damp-free, dry environment, out of any direct sunlight and on a flat, sturdy surface. Create A Cake is not liable for any cakes stored or displayed in poor conditions. It is the responsibility of the customer to keep the cake in the manner recommended by us..

Wedding Cake Delivery Information

📍 We will only deliver wedding cakes within a 40 mile radius of the shop premises, any further than this increases the possibility of damage in transit due to lengthy travel.

💰A delivery charge, if requested will be given at the time of placing your order. This will be based on distance required to travel, date, time and also include the cost of the safe installation and set up of your cake.

🅿️ Venue parking should be available for delivery. If unavailable, any parking fees will be added to your final payment.

 

📅 If you have a specific delivery date and require delivery before a given time, please ensure this is specified when placing your order.

‼️ It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the correct delivery information is given and that pre-arrangements have been made with the venue for the location and display of your cake. Set up does not include cake table or area decoration.

 

Create A Cake cannot be held responsible for the location of the cake at the venue. Please ensure, that the display location is level, stable and strong enough to hold the cake. If the order is to be left unattended at the venue, we cannot be held responsible for any damage or loss occurring after we have left the venue.

📸We reserve the right to photograph the order on delivery and these photographs remain our property.

 

❄️ On occasion we are faced with severe weather conditions or other unexpected events that may make your venue inaccessible. We will always do our best to deliver as pre-arranged. 

🚚 In the unlikely event that our delivery vehicle becomes involved in an accident, and your order gets damaged, we will provide you with a full refund which will include the cost of the order and delivery fee. We will not be liable to any further charges.
