Every cake we create is unique, which is why we provide individual quotations based on your individual, bespoke requirements. The main factors which will impact the overall cost of a cake are:
- The size of the cake.
- The flavour & filling of the cake.
- The overall theme and decorations on the cake.
It goes without saying, the more intricate or difficult a cake design is, the more time consuming it is to create, this will therefore be reflected in the final price.

To help give our customers an idea of the rough starting cost of our cakes and cupcakes, we've pulled together some guide cake price lists. Please note, these prices are based on vanilla sponge cake and should serve as a guide only. Any other sponge type, filling, toppers and decorations are additional costs.

HOW MUCH IS A CAKE?
CAKE DEPOSITS
Cake order slots in our diary are limited, all cake orders require a non refundable deposit at the time of booking in order to secure your place. For cakes with less than 4 weeks notice, half the cost of the cake must be paid at time of booking.
All deposits become due when the order has been placed and details checked and agreed by the customer. An order is only confirmed once All orders are deemed to have been accepted once the deposit has been paid. read here.
The total price for your cake order will be stated on your cake order form. By paying your cake order deposit, you are confirming and you agree to pay the full price stated on your order form to Create A Cake.
For wedding cake orders, the outstanding balance of your cake order must be paid 4 weeks prior to your collection/delivery date, unless discussed otherwise with business owner/staff members. If the final payment has not been made by or on the due date your order will not be made and will result in cancellation.
For other celebration cakes full payment deadline varies, please speak to a member of staff if you are unsure. Any cake ordered based on a photograph of a cake made by another cake maker, can only be reproduced as our interpretation and will not be an exact replica of the cake in question.
